Emmons County Ag Day
Jonas Sanders, the nephew of FUI agent Aaron Stuckle, hands out free donuts in front of the agency at Emmons County Ag Day June 12 in Linton. NDFU set up a table as part of the co-op corner, and Emmons County Farmers Union President Darius Aberle drove a truck with the ECFU banner in the parade.
Grant County EPIC event
Grant County Farmers Union held an EPIC event May 30 at Heart Butte camp, where kids learned about co-ops and companion planting. The kids broke into groups, with the oldest serving as captains, each group planning and planting their own garden. Afterward, they sat down and enjoyed a much-deserved treat.
Logan County EPIC event
Logan County Farmers Union EPIC coach Paige Thompson helps kids through a cooperative game during an EPIC event in Napoleon on July 6. Thirty-six kids attended the event, which also included swimming at the local pool.
