Co-op House Scholarship

The Co-op House Scholarship is awarded to students planning to enroll as freshmen at North Dakota State University. Field of study is not a factor in eligibility.

NDFU Scholarship

Each year $500 scholarships are awarded to first-year or undergraduate students enrolled in a secondary educational facility. Applicants must be pursuing a career important to rural America, but not limited to agribusiness, farm operation or production agriculture.

  • High school seniors and college undergraduates are eligible to apply
  • Farmers Union membership required ($30 annual family membership)
  • Must have at least 2.50 grade point average during the last three years of schooling

NDFU Scholarship Recommendation

Bergman Scholarship

Bergman scholarships are awarded to eligible Farmers Union Torchbearers each year. Applications are sent to all eligible and qualifying Torchbearers for that particular year.

  • Must be receiving the Torchbearer award at the upcoming Farmers Union State Convention
  • Must have at least 2.50 grade point average
  • Completed application and personal recommendations must be returned by application deadline indicated on the application

Stanley Moore National Scholarship

Each year, several $1,000 Stanley Moore National Scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university.

Applications are available in the spring.

All applications must be postmarked on or before April 3 to be considered.

Hubert K. and JoAnn Seymour Scholarship

Each year, one or two Hubert K. and JoAnn Seymour Scholarships will be awarded ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 total.

Scholarship applications are available in the spring.

All applications must be postmarked on or before March 13 to be considered.

Stanley Moore FUI Foundation Regional Scholarship

Each year, several $1,500 Stanley Moore FUI Foundation Regional Scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Money is to be used for tuition and books.

All applications must be postmarked on or before April 22 to be considered.

CHS Foundation Scholarships

The CHS Foundation cultivates opportunity through university partnerships that benefit students studying in the field of agriculture.

More than 215 scholarships are awarded annually to college students enrolled in an agricultural-related program at 24 partnering two- and four-year colleges and universities (see list). Interested students should contact their college of agriculture office to apply, since application and award timelines vary.
