Legislation

North Dakota Farmers Union

North Dakota Farmers Union was founded on the core belief that only the family farm system of agriculture can achieve economic and social stability, environmental stewardship, strong quality of life, and efficient food production for national food security. As such, we believe state and federal programs must be targeted toward family farms, ranches and rural communities.

Our members are actively engaged in the legislative process on the state and federal level. Click here to view NDFU’s 2017 NDFU Program of Policy and Action. It serves as a legislative compass for the organization, and is debated and adopted annually by members.
